Welcome to Nuclear Fuel Cycle & Nonproliferation Lab
Sustainable Nuclear Future through Chemistry and Materials Innovation
The SNU Nuclear Fuel Cycle & Nonproliferation Laboratory (SNUNFC) conducts research on molten salt chemistry, nuclear waste storage and disposal, plant water chemistry, material degradation, and nuclear energy and fuel cycle policy. Through experimental studies and multiphysics modeling, we investigate the behavior of nuclear materials and chemical systems across the nuclear fuel cycle, from advanced reactor environments to spent fuel management and geological disposal, supporting the safe and sustainable use of nuclear energy.
