Last week SNUNFC were represented at the Korea Nuclear Society Autumn conference by Ph.D. student Seungjin Seo and M.S. student Pilhyeon Ju.

"Multiphysics modeling of CRUD and boron hideout during PWR operations" - Seungjin Seo

Seungjin delivered an oral presentation titled "Multiphysics modelling of CRUD and boron hideout during PWR operations" during the nuclear fuel and materials session. His talk focused on describing his CRUD deposition and erosion model & Mass transfer and chemistry model.

The KNS conference represented a chance for Pilhyeon to deliver his first talk at a conference. His chosen topic was “Analysis of Nuclear Power Build-up Scenario for Net Zero Carbon in 2050.”.

Of the experience, Pilhyeon said "It was a nice experience to have my first talk in the conference. I feel I learned a lot through KNS, and I would like to prepare and progress my talk at KRS as well"

Both students made excellent presentations. Congratulations to them both!
