SNUNFC were represented at the Waste Management 2023 conference, Phoenix Arizona, by Ph.D. candidate Nakkyu Chae, and Ph.D. student Samuel Park.

Nakkyu delivered a poster presentation titled "Spatial Time-dependent Corrosion Modeling of Cu Canister in a Geological Repository from Oxic to Anoxic Conditions". His poster focused on corrosion modelling of copper canisters as the surrounding geological repository transitions from an oxic environment to an anoxic environment after final disposal and sealing using the MOOSE software.

Samuel delivered a poster presentation titled "Fully-Coupled 3D THC Modeling for Performance of EBS in a Geological Repository". His poster described his recent developments in producing a fully coupled 3D model to describe geological repository performance.
Both students made excellent presentations. Congratulations to them both!
